Every room, and the water

Evening on Mason Creek
The frame the whole week bends toward: the creek going quiet, the water turning to glass and the sky painting itself across the river.
Exterior
The riverhouse itself — elevated, painted the colour of shallow water, on a quiet no-through street a few turns off the main road.
Waterfront & Aerials
Mason Creek from above and at eye level — the seawall, the tidal marsh and wide Florida water beginning just past the rail.
Living Spaces
The rooms everyone ends up in: the vaulted living room, the dining table under the skylights, and the tin-ceilinged lounge downstairs in The Tackle Room.
Kitchen
A long galley in navy and stone — full-size range, deep drawers, and everything a week of fish dinners needs.
Bedrooms
Queen beds across three bedrooms and the bonus room downstairs. No two rooms agree on a colour, and that is the point.
Captain's Quarters
The primary bedroom: a tall carved headboard, cool linen, blue morning light and its own door to the porch.
Murphy Bed Room
The downstairs bonus sleeping room: its own queen Murphy bed, its own full bathroom, and the door straight out to the water.
Bathrooms
Three full bathrooms, all of them with an opinion. Plus an outdoor shower for after the water.
Outdoor Living
An open porch the full length of the house — not screened — plus the shaded ground level, the grills and the outdoor shower.
Dock & Fishing
A private dock on Mason Creek — uncovered, with a covered boat lift — plus the grills, the cleaning space and a straight run to open water.
Sunsets & Golden Hour
The last hour of light running down the creek, which is the hour everybody photographs.
